Cancer-stricken Jade Goody will walk down the aisle today in a fairytale ceremony.

The Big Brother celebrity, who was diagnosed with cervical cancer that had spread to her entire body, is set to defy the medics by tying the knot after being given eight weeks to live.

The 27-year-old was also previously said to be preparing her sons Bobby, five, Freddie, four, and her jailbird partner of three years Jack Tweed for the tragic news.

But the TV favourite, who will host the big bash at Down Hall country manor in Hatfield Heath, Essex, was reportedly bent on creating fabulous memories for her family and friends with her dream wedding.

Jade will not let the cancer spoil her magic day. She wants to leave all her family, especially her boys, with these special moments to cherish, News of the World quoted a pal as saying.

American burlesque artist Dita Von Teese, 35, has designed a new line of Wonderbra and undies that have quick-release clasps.

Dita designed the undies to help women please their men with ease. “I love it when you can go about your daily business with the knowledge that you have a little secret of your own on underneath,” News of the World quoted her as saying.

“Lingerie shouldn’t be something you just put on for your lover—you should do it for you,” she added.

The Wonderbra by Dita Von Teese will be in shops from September. Meanwhile, the actress has had her bust boosted and is also open to having a nip here and a tuck there in future.

Anne Hathaway says being considered a sêx symbol is an “unexpected” pleasure. The Get Smart actress — who first shot to fame with a movie The Princess Diaries in 2001 — has been changing her clean-cut image with controversial films including Brokeback Mountain but admits her sêx symbol status has surprised her. She said: “I’m so happy that I’m a 25-year-old working actress and that now people are starting to say I have brains. I always thought people believed I could only do one thing. It’s always frightening when you are trying something new and you just feel sort of shaky. I wanted to be an actor more than anything else and that’s what it means to be an actor.

It’s unexpected that anyone could think I’m a sêx symbol. While Aishwarya has ethereal looks, Mallika has a va-va voom figure and on the drool meter, Mallika scores way higher. However, the kind of woman I would fantasise about is a proper Tamil ponnu, who is a perfect mix of beauty, brains and good character. I think Nayanthara sort of fits the bill,” says the young actor.

Actress Padmapriya says that the term ‘sex symbol’ is not derogatory. “When someone talks about fantasy, it's more often than not about the physical attributes of a person. I also think that while the way a woman carries herself or shows off her ‘assets’ maybe a reflection of her personality, it’s definitely more about the figure,” says she.

Model and VJ, Paloma says, “As a woman I am not ok with being treated like a sex object. Fantasies are fine as long as they remain just that. Mallika uses what she has to her advantage and you gotta laud the lady for that. She has positioned herself very well, she knows what sells and gives the public just that. But then again, when it comes to reality, it’s a whole different ball game; it’s as much the beauty, as it is the brains.”

Raunak Dalal, a college student thinks that Mallika should take a walk and according to him, Kollywood actresses like Trisha, Reema Sen and Nayanthara are truly the sirens who send the temperature rising in an already hot Chennai. “Mallika Sherawat should seriously learn to cover up. She is what, 30 going on 13? Look at our Kollywood heroines. They are sexy, without being sleazy, sensuous, without being smutty, and that is any man’s dream come true. Give me a Reema over a Mallika any day.”

The men, it seems, like it real and let's just say, the bigger they are, the better it is. The women, on the other hand, think that it takes more than just ‘valuable assets’ to get a man’s attention. The actress revealed that she’s been convincing directors that her characters should hug instead of kiss, because she hates smooching with anyone who isn't her husband.

The Desperate Housewives actress has just celebrated her first wedding anniversary with basketball star Tony Parker and she can't get used to the idea she has to lock lips with strange men on the big and small screen.

"I always try to talk my way out of kissing scenes: ''Do they really need to kiss in this part? Can't they just hug?'' The directors are like, ''No!''" Contactmusic quoted her, as telling Latina magazine .

And she isn't the only member of the Desperate Housewives cast who shudders at the thought of a kissing scene - her onscreen husband would prefer not to have to kiss her. She adds, "Ricardo (Chavira) hates kissing me. We are both not really fond of the kissing scenes."

Ranbir Kapoor does it again.

Even as lady love Deepika Padukone looked on, the Kapoor kid publicly announced on a show on Zoom TV Bachna Ae Haseeno Special that he found the dusky Bipasha Basu the sêxist of the lot.

After weeks of whirlwind romance, Jennifer Aniston has been dumped by her rock singer beau John Mayer, say reports.

The pair initially decided to spend some time apart, before making the break official. The news of the split with Gravity singer John comes just weeks after the couple were rumoured to be considering marriage. "There's been a bit of tension for some time," the Mirror quoted a source, as saying.

"They initially opted for a break, hoping a trial split might make them stronger. Sadly it doesn't seem to have worked. John took the decision to end things as he felt he just wasn’t ready for the level of commitment that Jennifer deserved.

"Contrary to reports, Jen didn''t want to have kids or marry this year, but she did want to set a timetable for their future together. She also wanted him to assure her he would cut down his tours in the future when they did eventually have children.

"Initially, Jennifer was furious when he told her of his decision but now she''s simply sad - not to mention a little heartbroken. They have spoken on the phone since the split and are trying to remain on good terms.

"But unless John has a dramatic change of heart, it's unlikely they'll rekindle their romance,” the source added.

Cameron Diaz earned $50 million in a year and win top-earning actress title

Cameron Diaz earned some $50 million in the past year to win the title of Hollywood's top-earning actress in a list released by a magazine.

In all, Hollywood's 10 top-earning actresses collectively banked $244.5 million between June 1, 2007 and June 1, 2008, the report said. Cameron's main earnings came from her lucrative role as princess-turned-ogre in DreamWorks' Shrek franchise.

But she also starred in the spring comedy, What Happens in Vegas and has nabbed large pay cheques for her role in the adaptation of Jodi Picoult's best-selling novel My Sister's Keeper and a fourth installment of Shrek .

Cameron was followed on the rich actress list by British beauty Keira Knightley, who earned $32 million from roles in movies like Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End and Atonement .

Former Friends star Jennifer Aniston earned $27 million with roles in the family comedy Marley & Me and the dating ensemble He's just not that into you . Her income was boosted by payments from the syndication of Friends and endorsement deals for Glacéau's Smartwater and Heineken .

Reese Witherspoon and Gwyneth Paltrow tied for fourth place on the list, with each banking some $25 million during the year. Filling out the top ten were Jodie Foster, Sarah Jessica Parker, Meryl Streep, Amy Adams and Angelina Jolie. Though the actresses’ earnings were impressive by almost anyone's standards, they were still much lower than those for top-earning male actors.

According to a recently published list, Will Smith was the top earner with $80 million, followed by Johnny Depp with $72 million and Eddie Murphy with $55 million.

Years after her death, Princess Diana is still an influential 'style icon' - the royal has topped a list of the 'Most Elegant Women Ever'.

She has beaten Sophia Loren, an Academy Award winning Italian film actress, to land the top spot.

Grace Kelly, generally known as Princess Grace of Monaco, came third while Audrey Hepburn stood fourth.

Waheeda Rehman admires Madhuri

Legendary actress Waheeda Rehman says Madhuri Dixit is the only actress who can do justice to her role in Dev Anand’s all time classic Guide, if it is remade today.

“The role requires an actress who should be a good dancer. Madhuri is both a good actress and a dancer,” she said in Mumbai at a function organised by Enlighten Film Society to felicitate her for her contributions to movies.

She recalled how Hiralal, who choreographed the dance sequences of Guide, worked hard on her and how she tried her best to come up to his expectations. The film was released in 1965.

“Shooting for Guide was one of my best experiences because the movie itself was close to reality,” she remarked. The veteran actress also said that her role in Guide was completely different from what she played in Mujhe Jeene Do (1963) and Kohra (1964), which were released before that.

Kylie Minogue goes extravagant for on-off lover

Aussie pop princess Kylie Minogue put on an extravagant show for her on-off lover Alexander Dahm, who had flown 6,000 miles just to see her sizzling show in London.

Dahm, a 40-year-old movie director, was seated in the VIP area right next to the stage in the capitals O2 Arena, where Minogue performed in a series of sexy outfits.

As the show went on, Dahm spent much of the evening filming Kylie with a video camera as she sang her hits.

“Alex was standing about a metre away from Kylie. He even got out his video camera to record the show,” the Daily Mirror quoted an insider as saying.

This is the second time that the father of two has flown to London to be with Kylie.

In March, he visited her in London for six days, where they spent most of the time holed up in her Chelsea pad.

“Kylie had organised for Alex to be standing as close to her as possible. She made sure he had access to all areas and even allowed him to film her on his video camera,” the pop insider said of August 1 concert.

Dahm was filming the show very discreetly, and was filming just certain parts of it.

“Because Kylie and Alex are such good friends, she spoke to him loads about the tour during the planning stages. So it was only right she invited him over to see the finished product," a pal who knows the couple added.

The pair first met last January in Acapulco, Mexico where Dahm was on a film shoot and Kylie was modelling bikinis for her H&M swimwear range.
