Jennifer Lopez doesn't prefer facial treatments

Jennifer Lopez thinks that relaxing, getting plenty of sleep and drinking a lot of water is key to good skin. Thus she doesn't go for facial treatments.

"I try to get enough good sleep, about seven or eight hours and I drink a lot of water. If I have a red-carpet event, I'll do a face mask in the morning. And I'll take a nice bath to relax myself because I think the better you feel, the better you look. Then I'll have a coffee and take the day slow. I don't like to rush," femalefirst.co.uk quoted Lopez as saying.

She added: "I don't have facials or treatments. I don't like messing with my face or my skin too much. I don't do scrubs or peels or anything like that, I just do the basics. I use moisture masks a lot though."

The 41-year-old Singer is also trying to get back in the exercise habit following the birth of her twins Max and Emme with husband Marc Anthony..

Jennifer Lopez’s ex-husband Cris Judd has once again tied the knot.

The 40-year-old actor/choreographer married American wrestler Kelly A. Wolfe in a small ceremony with about 35 guests in Laguna Beach, Calif.,

“It was completely and utterly perfect,” Usmagazine quoted Judd as saying.

He says he “pretty much right away” knew he wanted to marry Wolfe.

He further said that they even wrote their own vows, which made the ceremony “fantastic.”

Judd and Wolfe have been together for about nine months.

JLo, who became a mother in February 2008 - finds it difficult to be parted from her family, and thus she uses the Internet to check on how they are doing.

“I hate being away from my kids. But we have devised this thing where I can see them on the computer. I call up on the web camera so I can see the babies while I am away and I just look at them,” Contactmusic quoted her as saying.

The 40-year-old singer-and-actress enjoys speaking to the twins via a webcam, she has admitted that it can be upsetting and confusing for her 18-month-old daughter Emme to see her mother talking to her on a computer screen.

Jennifer Lopez is not a shrinky person

American actress Jennifer Lopez once talked bout the nervous breakdown she went through during an interview, but it was never published.

The interview, which took place between new mum Lopez and Kevin Sessums at the Long Island estate she shares with husband Marc Anthony, had originally been done for a major fashion magazine. Jeniffer, 39, had requested the magazine not to publish the interview because she regretted some of the comments she had made.

However, the story, as told by Sessums, has finally come to light.

“I don't get nervous. I don't get depressed. Blah, blah, blah...There was a time when I was very overworked and I was doing music and movies and so many things. I was suffering from a lack of sleep. And I did have a kind of nervous breakdown,” the Daily Beast quoted her as saying.

“I froze up on a set. Well, not on a set, but in my trailer. I was like, ‘I don’t want to move. I don’t want to talk. I don’t want to do anything.’ It was on that movie Enough [in 2002]. Yeah. I did. I had a nervous breakdown.

“There were no signs leading up to it. You really don’t know what’s happening at first. I was going, ‘What’s going on?’ It was about five in the afternoon in my trailer and I just sat there. I remember telling my assistant at the time, Arlene, to go get the director, Michael Apted, and I asked if I could go home because I was feeling so sick and weird.

“I kept saying, ‘I’m not weak. I’m not weak.’ It’s funny what tricks your mind plays on you. I just didn’t want people to think I was falling apart. But when I look back on it now it’s so odd to me that those are the words I chose to say: ‘I AM NOT WEAK.’

“Michael let me off and when he left I just sat there and started crying and felt frozen. I didn’t want to move.

“My bodyguard, who had been with me for many years, picked me up and put me in the car and they took me to a doctor...Right away they want to give you pills. But I have never liked the idea of pills and kept saying no to that and just kept asking what was wrong with me.

“‘I’ll tell you what’s wrong,’ the doctor said. ‘You’re sleep deprived. You’re overworked. Go home and go to bed.’ He told me to go back to work on Monday after a weekend of sleeping because if I waited longer that I would only get more panicked about working.

“So that’s what I did. I’ve still never been to a shrink. I’m not a shrinky person,” she added.

Lopez not worry about extra baby weight

Jennifer Lopez never felt pressured to lose baby weight and regain her pre-pregnancy figure.

The superstar gave birth to twins Emme and Max in February and subsequently slimmed down as she trained for the Nautica Malibu Triathlon, which took place last weekend.

But Lopez insists she doesn't feel the need to tone up any further, even though she is still about 10 pounds heavier than she was before she had kids.

"I don't weigh myself a lot. I still have 10 pounds, or so. (But) I don't have any problems with it. I never felt I had to get rid of it," Lopez was quoted as saying by People.com.

And Lopez admits her husband Marc Anthony has no qualms about her curves either.

She adds, "We like to eat! I think you have to love yourself and indulge when you want to, as well as be happy and just have a healthy attitude towards it. Marc loves the way I look!"

JLo reveals her secret desires

Jennifer Lopez has become a ‘humdrum’ housewife. The Do It Well singer — who is expecting her first child — claims she loves nothing more than staying at home and cooking for her husband Marc Anthony.

She said, “As you get older you start to appreciate the more humdrum things in life. I’ve spent years at the most glamourous parties, but at home I don’t dress up. It feels amazing to have these nights at home with my husband.

I just want to stay in and cook for him and be there when he comes home.” JLo has also revealed her perfect night would involve her, Marc and lots of cuddles. She explained, “For me a romantic night in is cooking a meal for Marc, lighting a big log fire and then cuddling up together and watching television.” The 38-year-old singer is believed to be seven-months pregnant. Jennifer Lopez to retire?

Singing sensation Jennifer Lopez has hinted that she intends to let work take a back seat after she gives birth to her first child.

Workaholic JLo, who is thought to be seven months pregnant with twins, reveals in a new magazine interview that she is not keen to be a working mom.

She tells Harper’s Bazaar, “I don’t know and I like that, because my life has been so planned for so many years. Once I did the tour, I really just wanted to shut it down.” She was also asked why she kept her pregnancy under wraps for so long.

She says, “I do realise people want to know about the pregnancy, but this is the first time I’m going through this. I kind of feel like everybody knew anyway.”

The singer says husband Marc Anthony was a factor in the decision to keep mum about their baby news. Jennifer had recently revealed that it was her mother who kept insisting on a grandchild. She told Cosmopolitan, “When Marc and I first got married, my mother rang me every day asking if there was any news. I come from a big Latino family where it’s all about having children. So the pressure was huge from the start.”

Marc is Jennifer’s third husband and she said she was keen to make her marriage work, “After I married Marc, I wanted to make my marriage work. ‘JLo the diva’ made a conscious effort to become ‘Jennifer the wife’. And I had to give this love a chance to really grow, without being swamped by the whole celebrity circus.”
