Julia Roberts recently visited the symbol of love “Taj Mahal”

Oscar winning actress Julia Roberts visited the historical monument in Agra, about 200 kilometers from Pataudi where she is currently staying for the shooting of her upcoming movie 'Eat, Pray, Love'.

Universally admired masterpiece mausoleum of white marble, the world famous symbol of love Taj Mahal was completed in 1648. Built by Mughal emperor Shah Jahan in the memory of his favorite wife Mumtaz Mahal and appears in several listings of seven wonders of the modern world.

Roberts also reportedly spent some time on the weekend with a Bollywood family, Filmfare Award winners Saif Ali Khan (Hum Tum) along with his mother Sharmila Tagore and his sister Soha Ali Khan.

Julia Roberts’ ‘army’ of 350 bodyguards angers Hindu villagers

The Oscar winning actress Julia Roberts is currently filming her new movie Eat, Pray, Love at a Hindu temple.

Villagers hoping to celebrate one of their most important religious festivals found their temple sealed by Roberts’s 350 bodyguards.

“It’s the holiest time of the year and we must not be stopped from visiting our own temple,” the Sun quoted a villager, as saying.

However, a cop said: “Nobody can breach the cover. We have strict instructions.”

The 41-year-old star is putting up at Pataudi, which is an hour’s drive from Delhi and has been provided with a bulletproof car for her and her three children.

Hollywood actress Julia Roberts has the ‘Most genuine smile’, according to a new poll, which involved 3,000 people and was commissioned by the online bank Smile.

Victoria Beckham was voted for having the 'worst fake smile'. The stunner held off her fellow Ocean's 11 co-star George Clooney, who came third.

X Factor judge Simon Cowell came second. The other best smiles were that of TV character Ugly Betty played by America Ferrera as well as the mysterious smile of Leonardo da Vinci's Mona Lisa.

Beckham piped the United States president, George Bush, to the top spot of having the 'Worst fake smile'. Pop star Britney Spears was recorded as having the third-worst forced smile.

Former Prime Minister Tony Blair managed to creep into the top five worst fake smiles, coming fourth ahead of Motown superstar Diana Ross.

There are plenty of girls nowadays who spend a few minutes every now and then appreciating their favourite female celebrities. And the one who is on most women’s mind is ‘Pretty Woman’ star Julia Roberts.

Julia used to stutter as a kid

Actor Julia Roberts and her brother Eric used to stutter as kids. American charity, Stuttering Foundation of America (SFA) revealed in their recent newsletter that the siblings suffered from the speech affliction as kids. “

The Roberts siblings stuttered as children and ironically give credence to the factor of the heredity/genetic link in the stuttering equation. They have no doubt inspired young people with the problem,” wrote the newsletter.

The charity is now planning to sign them as their national spokespersons. SFA rep Jane Fraser said that the Oscar winner had expressed an interest in helping few years back and Eric also agreed to be interviewed. “It would be marvellous to have them participate,” a New York daily quoted Fraser as saying.

Julia vows never to strip for films

Actress Julia Roberts has pledged never to strip for a film again.
The 40-year-old actress feels that those who shed their clothes for films are not staying true to their craft.
"I wouldn't do nudity in a film. To act with my clothes on is a performance. To act with my clothes off is a documentary," Contactmusic quoted, her as saying.
The ‘Pretty Woman’ star believes that nudity is not just her thing and even had to be persuaded to wear a bikini for new film ‘Charlie Wilson's War’.
She also admitted that she's not too confident about her sex appeal these days.
"I'm too tall to be a girl. I wouldn't call myself a woman. I'd say I'm somewhere between a chick and a broad," she added.
