We are talking about Rani Mukherjee and sanjay Leela Bhansali.It is believed that Bhansali offered an important role to dear friend Rani Mukherjee in his forthcoming film Chenab Gandhi . Apparently Rani who has worked with Bhansali for Black and Saawariya refused to be part of it.
Chenab Gandhi will be produced by Sanjay Leela Bhansali. It will be directed by debutante director Vibhu Puri. It stars Harman Baweja and Vidya Balan and Amitabh Bachchan in the main lead. It is believed that Bhansali offered Rani a cameo, but one that is considered a significant role. However Rani who had earlier played a cameo in his last film Saawariya told him that she will be part of the film only if he gives her the lead role.
It is also believed that Rani was disappointed as Bhansali had completely ignored her during the promotions of Saawariya . This time Rani is playing her cards safe. Interestingly Rani is not the only actress who refused to be part of Bhansali’s film. It can be recalled that before Harman, Ranbir and Hrithik were approached to play the main lean in Chenab Gandhi . Now when Rani has also refused to be part of it Bhansali has no option but to look for another actress to play the same role. It is learned that now Bhansali is keen to sign Sushmita Sen for the same role.
