Actress Angelina Jolie has admitted taking her seven-year-old son Maddox shopping for knives.Hollywood star revealed the controversial choice of presents during an interview to the American fashion magazine W , reports dailymail.co.uk.

Jolie said, "We take him to a special shop. We also talk about samurais and the idea about defending someone as good. We talk about everything". She also said that "it is something of a family tradition" as her late mother, Marcheline Bertrand, had taken her shopping for a knife when she was just 11.
The 32-year-old actress and mother of six confesses she has since held a fascination for weapons. Angelina adopted her first child Maddox in 2002, then only seven months old, from an orphanage in Cambodia.
