Amy Winehouse pay 25,000-pound as fine

Troubled popstar Amy Winehouse has been handed out a huge 25,000-pound bill after she vomited on borrowed posh designer clothes.

The designer was irate with the ‘ Back to Black’ hitmaker, as she returned the puke-stained clothes with green, furry mould growing on them.

“Harvey Nichols loaned Amy 25,000pounds worth of silk and satin dresses. Unfortunately, while wearing one of the frocks, she went on an all-night bender,” The Mirror quoted an insider, as saying.

“She ended up in the loos, where she was violently sick. Let’s just say it wasn’t pretty,” the insider added.

Amy, who vomited on the clothes she was wearing while partying with Mark Ronson, did not even clean up the clothes before returning them, the source said.

“She eventually couriered them back on Monday, but didn’t wrap them separately. So sick had gone on all the clothes,” the insider said.

“Even worse, green, furry mould had developed on some gowns, making them unwearable,” the insider added.

Jamie Hince has pledged to patch up with Kate Moss

Popstar Jamie Hince has pledged to patch up his broken relationship with Kate Moss and give in to the supermodel’s plea to have a baby.

The couple broke up as Kate wanted to have a baby and start a family but Hince was apprehensive about the whole idea. However while on tour in the States, the Kills guitarist had been thinking about rekindling romance with the 34-year-old and has finally decided to start a family with his lady love, according to pals.

Hince has told his friends that the break-up was “a storm in a teacup” and is confident he can get things back on track. “Jamie is upset that Kate is being painted as this party animal who ruined their relationship with her wild ways. The reality is far from that,” The Sun quoted Hince’s pal, as saying. “In fact, they split over her wanting to start trying for children,” the pal added.

The friend revealed that Hince and Kate have been arguing about having a baby for a long time. “It’s a problem that has been rumbling on for a while and came to a head recently,” the pal said.

“Jamie told her he didn’t want to commit to that while things were still going well with his band and he was away on tour so much. But she argued that could remain the case for years and she didn’t want to wait that long before having another child,” the pal added.

However, Hince has finally decided to discuss their future with her when he returns from The Kills’ American tour. “Now Jamie misses her and has been struggling with the thought of being apart from her for good while in the States on tour,” Hince’s pal revealed. “When he returns he is ready to back down over the baby issue to save his relationship,” he added.

Lindsay Lohan offer her tributes to victims of the plane crash

American actress Lindsay Lohan and her girlfriend Samantha Ronson offered their tributes to victims of the plane crash, which has also left BLINK-182 rocker Travis Barker and Adam 'Djam' Goldstein with severe burns.

Barker and Goldstein had jumped out of the burning Learjet when it crashed on September 19 at Columbia Airport, South Carolina.

They are currently being treated in a specialist burns unit in Georgia.

"Please send your prayers out to Adam Goldstien (sic) and Travis Barker - along with the others lost in the plane
crash...it's so scary to think that life can end so fast...we must all treasure each and every moment - and be thankful for what we have,” the Daily Star quoted Lindsay as having written on her Myspace.com internet page.

Samantha also added her condolences and sent her best wishes to the families of the other four who were killed in the crash.

"I can't even imagine the pain their families must be in. So sad and I am so sorry,” Samantha had added.

Barker and Goldstein, who were passengers on the plane headed for California, survived when the plane carrying them and four others crashed on take-off after reportedly failing to clear the runway.

Gemma Arterton has fallen in love with Spanish stuntman

Bond Girl Gemma Arterton has fallen head over heels in love with a hunky Spanish stuntman, so much so, that she has even invited him to move into her London home.

According to reports, the British actress, who stars in forthcoming Bond flick Quantum of Solace , met Eduardo Munoz on the Moroccan set of 50million pounds blockbuster Prince of Persia last month.

The 19-year-old taught the St Trinian’s star to ride for the movie, and despite a few communication hitches they hit it off.

The couple are even said to have hired a translator to bridge the language gap.

"She has invited Eduardo to live with her in London and has hired a language tutor who is teaching her Spanish and him English,” Contactmusic quoted a source as telling British newspaper The Mail.

“Gemma’s Spanish is non-existent and his English is rudimentary. So she’s been on set this week saying how much fun it is to have a translator who is teaching them to communicate properly for the first time,” said the source.

The couple is reported to be dating, and rumours are rife that Gemma is looking forward to take their relationship to the next level.

“She looks and acts like a woman who is head-over-heels in love. She and Eduardo have made no attempt to hide the romance. They are always kissing and cuddling. She told me she can’t wait to learn Spanish so she can go to Madrid and meet his family,” The Daily Star quoted the source, as saying.

Earlier this year, the actress had split with boyfriend of 18 months John Nolan, 27, as her celebrity status soared.

Karisma's daughter Samaira loved her mother as a model

Even though she’s taken a sabbatical from acting after her marriage, her glam quotient hasn’t dwindled a wee bit.
As she walked the ramp dressed in a sensational couture dress by Manav Gangwani, Karisma Kapur was the cynosure of all eyes. Rag her about this newfound love for modelling and Karisma says with a laugh, “I like to promote talent. Last year, I had modelled for Manish Malhotra and this year when Manav asked me to do the honours, I couldn’t refuse. He’s barely 30 and very talented. In fact, I was floored with the response that I got. But, the best part is that my daughter Samaira loved me as a model. She wasn’t there at the show, but later when she saw me on the television, she went gaga over me. That, I think, has been the biggest reward.”
With her ravishing looks and perfect 10 figure, it’s not surprising that the young lady is getting so many compliments and film offers. Ask her why did she refuse Rahul Dholakia’s film Lamha, which was later bagged by Bipasha, and Karisma says, “A lot of details were not ready. And when I do a project, I would like to be very sure about my role, the script and its nitty-gritty. Yes, I am getting a lot of offers, but I will accept a project only if it appeals to my heart. So, it can happen anytime!”
There’s a trace of regret in her voice the moment you ask her how she plans to celebrate her sister Kareena’s birthday, which falls today. The big sister confides, “We always make it a point to be with each other on birthdays. But, this time we will not be together because Kareena is shooting in Ladakh with Aamir Khan for her film 3 Idiots. Nevertheless, Bebo will be in my thoughts 24x7 on her birthday.”

Lopez not worry about extra baby weight

Jennifer Lopez never felt pressured to lose baby weight and regain her pre-pregnancy figure.

The superstar gave birth to twins Emme and Max in February and subsequently slimmed down as she trained for the Nautica Malibu Triathlon, which took place last weekend.

But Lopez insists she doesn't feel the need to tone up any further, even though she is still about 10 pounds heavier than she was before she had kids.

"I don't weigh myself a lot. I still have 10 pounds, or so. (But) I don't have any problems with it. I never felt I had to get rid of it," Lopez was quoted as saying by People.com.

And Lopez admits her husband Marc Anthony has no qualms about her curves either.

She adds, "We like to eat! I think you have to love yourself and indulge when you want to, as well as be happy and just have a healthy attitude towards it. Marc loves the way I look!"

Bhagyashree is making a comeback in a new avataar

Just when she is making a comeback to Bollywood in a new glam and sêxy avataar, comes the gossip that actress Bhagyashree is splitting with husband Himalay.

A TV channel spun the tale further by alleging that she had walked out of her marriage and was, therefore, getting a makeover done and returning to films.

Bhagyashree is furious. “Himalay and I were interviewed on two separate occasions and asked general questions about my make-over and films, but the interviews were edited to appear as if we had split,” she said. “Himalay was upset. I told him, ‘Chill, we are watching the programme together under one blanket, what more do you want’?”

The actress is contemplating legal action against the media house that ran this story. But BT asked the all-important question, given the fact that Bhagyashree had turned her back on Bollywood in the past because she only wanted do act opposite Himalay:

is her return to films the cause of any friction between the couple? “No,” she laughed, “Himalay is happy with my make-over, I’m good arm candy for him, he feels like he has a new woman in his life now.”

Lynne Spears takes blame for Britney's woes

The mother of pop star Britney Spears on Wednesday heaped the blame for her daughters' erratic behavior throughout 2007 and early this year on herself in a television interview saying "it's always my fault."

Appearing on the morning TV talk show "Today" on NBC, Lynne Spears also said that she first thought it was joke when her younger daughter Jamie Lynn announced she was pregnant at age 16 -- in a note.
"It said she was pregnant and everything was going to be OK. She was going to raise it ... I thought it was a joke. I was waiting for the punch line," Lynne Spears told interviewer Meredith Vieira.

"I was in shock. I think I was just truly in shock, and then I started to cry. And she started consoling me at that point."

Jamie Lynn gave birth to a girl in June and is raising the baby with her boyfriend in their Mississippi home.
Spears, 53, said she accepted much of the blame for the crises of the past two years. Britney shaved her head, went in and out of rehab, lost custody of her children and was hospitalized in a psychiatric ward.

"As a mother, don't we always blame ourselves?" she said. "I took a lot of the blame. I took all the blame. The personality I have, it's always my fault."

Spears has written a memoir, "Through The Storm" which is being published this week, about the rise to fame of her daughters.

She said her family had no idea how difficult life was to become after Britney had her first hit, in 1998, with "Baby One More Time" at the age of 17.

"There's the honeymoon phase at first," Lynne Spears said. "Everything is fabulous. Look at the wonderful trips she gets to go on. Look at the wonderful people she's meeting.

"Then there's the ugly side of things that turns, and we weren't ready for that, either."

Britney Spears, 26,, has turned her life around in the past six months with her father now managing her affairs and a new album due out in December. Looking fit and glowing, she won three MTV video music awards last week.

"She's strong," Lynne Spears said. "She's resilient. She's had some big bumps in the road, but Britney's fine. Britney is headed to the top once again. I have no fears about Britney."

Sonam Kapoor is pretty glam in real life.

Sonam Kapoor has sported the simple girl-next-door look for her debut movie, but she insists she’s pretty glam in real life.

Nevertheless, she says she was petrified before she had to walk the ramp for Anamika Khanna in the HDIL India Couture Week in Mumbai recently. “I was scared before the show, but after seeing the models, I decided to walk the ramp as myself – Sonam Kapoor,” she says.

The glam mag covers that she’s shot for are also very much the real Sonam, she says. “What you’ve seen in Saawariya, or will see in Dilli 6 , are characters that I’ve played. But what you see on the magazine covers is what I am in real life,” she asserts, adding that she’s a bit of a fashion freak.

“I’ve always been interested in fashion and have known Anamika for ages. I can easily associate with and carry off her clothes well.”

But apart from the fashion stint, Sonam is also excited about the success of Slumdog Millionaire, the international film that features her dad, Anil Kapoor, and is doing well in the international film festival circuit. “I haven’t seen the movie, but even dad is surprised at its success. In the movie, he plays a negative role,” she says. And what about Mr India 2? “Isn’t it still a rumour that the movie’s being made? For me, it can be made as successfully as the original only if Shekhar Kapur directs it and the original cast is there. And to replace Mogambo is going to be very tough.”

As far as her films go, she’s doing only Dilli 6 and “has a life” beyond films. That includes romance – and link-ups, we assume. What happened with Ranbir? “What happened? Nothing!” Then what about rumours of the affair and then the break-up? “Ranbir is one of the closest friends I have. Why is it so difficult to digest that a guy and a girl can be friends? If he has a girlfriend, that doesn’t mean that our friendship will change.” The other link-up, of course, is with Kunal Kapoor.

“Oh my God! I understand why I’d be linked with Ranbir, but why Kunal? I’ve met the guy twice on the sets of Dilli 6 , don’t know him, don’t hang out with him and haven’t spoken much to him. I’m sure he must be a nice guy, but where do the rumours come from? And please, I’m not going to date anyone from the industry,” she shoots back.

But why is she still single? “Where are the men? You must tell this to the readers – I am single and very much ready to mingle!”

Naomi Campbell will promote Black people in fashion industry

If reports are to be believed, supermodel Naomi Campbell may soon retire, for she thinks she is through with her bit to promote Black people in the fashion industry.

The catwalk queen has always been reluctant to give up her career as there are so few black women in the industry, reports China Daily.

But after designers at New York Fashion Week used beauties of all races to showcase their creations, she is sure that there are other people to carry the torch and she can happily leave.

"This time the designers and editors have stepped it up. I feel positive. That means I can go soon,” she said.

She added: "My gut instinct is to get women of colour out there whether I''m still in fashion or not. I''ll be very happy when I''m 55 years old to pick up a magazine and see a lovely spread with a black woman.

Then I''ll know I didn''t work for all these years only to see it go backwards."

While the 38-year-old supermodel takes it as a changing attitude, she hopes that it is more than a passing trend.

She added: "The recent issue of Italian Vogue magazine where they only used black models shouldn''t make it briefly fashionable to be black and then unfashionable again."

Madonna dedicate her song to pope

Pop star Madonna, once accused by the Vatican of staging one of the most satanic shows in history, surprised fans by dedicating her hit "Like a Virgin" to the pope at a sold-out concert held in Rome.

"I dedicate this song to the pope, because I'm a child of God.the 50-year old "Queen of Pop" told.
Italian newspapers gushed over the singer's electric performance and called the dedication a surprising provocation.

"At the Roman leg of her tour, Madonna didn't miss the opportunity for a provocation that will certainly be discussed," Italy's top newspaper Corriere della Sera said in a front-page report.

Madonna, who comes from a devout Italian Catholic family, has raised the ire of the Catholic Church in the past with sexually charged antics designed to shock.

In 2006, she staged a mock-crucifixion at a concert in Rome to the backdrop of accusations from the Vatican of blasphemy.

The Vatican also condemned her controversial 1989 video for the song "Like a Prayer" that featured burning crosses, statues crying blood and Madonna seducing a black Jesus.

The Vatican later panned a show where she decked the stage out with religious imagery as one of the most "satanic shows in the history of humanity".

'Dard-e-Sherlyn' show organisers are in panic.

As the 'outrageous' singer and actress Sherlyn prepares to embark upon her first promotional tour for her new album 'Dard-e-Sherlyn', her show organisers are in a state of panic.
Sources reveal that they are losing sleep over the bold and flamboyant girl flaunting her trademark diamond-encrusted bikini top and golden hot pants that she's seen in the new super hit video of her remix album.
They are taking stringent security measures at all her promotional events across the country. Apart from expecting trouble from unruly crowds due to her skimpy attire, the organisers also feel it's extremely risky for Sherlyn to don the bikini top at public functions as it's actually studded with a couple of real diamonds.
Special care was even taken for this diamond-studded top when Sherlyn's video was shot. In fact, the actress too had employed an extra assistant just to keep an eye on the top whenever she left it in her vanity van in between shots.
Therefore, during all the shows, Sherlyn will perform with around six to eight bouncers guarding her and placed strategically near the stage's vicinity, and four other plain-clothes security men, who will intermingle with the audience, to subtly tackle any troublemakers in the crowds.

Britney Spears to open MTV Video Music Awards

It's Britney, baby, one more time. Despite her train-wreck performance at the MTV Video Music Awards last year, the network confirms Spears will kick off the show once again.

But it won't be a performance. Instead, MTV Networks Music Group President Van Toffler said Wednesday, it'll be something "fun and unexpected" on Sunday night's show.

Unexpected is probably the kindest way to describe Spears' performance at last year's VMAs. In what was heavily promoted as the troubled singer's comeback, she instead gave an unfocused, almost unwatchable performance of "Gimme More," one of the many low points in her year of debacles.

So what made Spears and MTV reunite one more time?

"MTV has long played an important role in my career. How can I not be there to kick off their 25th VMAs? I'm excited to open the entire show, to say hi to my fans and to be nominated," Spears said in a statement.

"I think for Britney, people are rooting for her, and she's really on the road to recovery," Toffler said, noting that MTV had nominated her for three VMAs, including video of the year, for her clip "Piece of Me."

"It feels like it's her year," he added. "It's our 25th anniversary of the VMAs, and she's been such a critical piece of MTV's history."

While she bombed in 2007, Spears has given the VMAs many highlights over the years, from her kiss with Madonna to her performance with a writhing snake.

Spears also equals ratings gold: Last year's VMAs were up 23 percent over the 2006 show.

In recent months, Spears, who's working on a new album, has appeared to have cleaned up her act (although a judge on Wednesday refused to dismiss a misdemeanor driving without-a-valid-license case against her). Her father James has been in control of her personal and professional matters as her legal conservator, and she drew high ratings and positive reviews when she made guest appearances on CBS' "How I Met Your Mother" earlier this year.

So far, the confirmed performers for Sunday's show include the Jonas Brothers, Lil Wayne, Rihanna, T.I. and Kid Rock.

Toffler also raised the possibility of another troubled pop icon appearing: Michael Jackson.

"We've been talking to him as well, I don't know if that's going to happen," he said. "People fall in and fall out up until the day of the show."

Prachi is upset with the rumours of a 'hidden boyfriend'

At 17 she played the mother of two kids on small screen, and now at 20, she has successfully played a homemaker married for four years, in her debut film released recently. While her film is winning accolades, Prachi is quite upset with the rumours of a 'hidden boyfriend', who, reports claim, has been given a role in Ekta Kapoor's serial. The petite lady fumes and clarifies her stand to NT.
Compliment her on the overwhelming response to her film and Prachi says, "I think I have just been very lucky. In my teens I bagged a good serial, which made me a household name. Then I got the chance to participate in the dance reality show Jhalak dikhhla Jaa, wherein I got the chance to prove my dancing acumen. And as the cherry on the cake, I got this film with Farhan Akhtar, which is being liked by people. I am really thankful to God for giving me such wonderful opportunities."

While her career is going great guns, the reports claim that it is the glow of love, which is adding some more radiance to her life. Try telling this to Prachi and she actually seethes, "I know exactly how these silly rumours started. Somebody came to interview me recently and out of the blue I was asked as to why I was ‘hiding Varun,’ my so-called lover ‘who has now got a role in Ekta's serial.’ I simply laughed and told that particular scribe 'I don't know what you are talking about.' It was so weird!
While she's waiting for the right guy to come along, will she stay away from television? "I would never say never because you have to eat crow later. But to be honest, I don't want to do daily soaps right now because they take a lot of your time. I don't mind doing reality shows though, but basically I am concentrating on films,"

Lindsay Lohan in love

Lindsay Lohan has confessed she "loves" Samantha Ronson. The 'Mean Girls' actress - who has so far refused to confirm she is dating the New York DJ - declared she is "smitten" with the blonde star.
Writing on her official MySpace blog, Lindsay puts her mood as "smitten". She then went on to dedicate Ray LaMontagne's touching ballad 'Trouble' to "sr" (Samantha Ronson) before adding "ILY" (I love you). Lindsay also revealed she is desperate to track down a dessert she and Samantha used to enjoy at school as a surprise for the DJ.
The blog reads: "So, Samantha and I are looking for Dixie cups - does anyone remember them??? They were given in school as a desert.
They are half vanilla/half chocolate. I have to have them before she gets back - so anyone that can help me find them - please, please, please, post it for me to see!!!! "Take care xoxo "This song is for sr... ILY "Currently listening: "'Trouble' "By Ray LaMontagne."

Ray's romantic track includes lyrics such as: "She gave me love and affection/I said I love her/She's good to me" and "I've been saved by a woman/She won't let me go/She won't let me go now".

Mallika all set to play a character of a begum

It seems Mallika loves to play royal historical characters and why not... she is just living up to her name. She is all set to play a character of a begum in Tigmanshu Dhulia’s forthcoming film Begum.

The two film old director Tigmanshu Dhulia has written the script and will direct Begum . Mallika’s close pal said, “Tigmanshu met Mallika and narrated the script. Mallika loved the idea of playing a Begum and instantly said a yes to the project.”

Tigmanshu revealed, “I originally wanted her to play the character of Tess from Thomas Hardy’s Tess of the D’Urbervilles . But Mallika was not too keen as two films on the same subject have already been made. Then I spoke to her about Begum.”

Carrying on his current pet project, the Haasil director related, “I had read Amrit Lal Nagar’s book, “ Saath Ghungat Wala Mukhada , which is based on the life of Begum Sumroo in 1730. It is the rise of this lady as she moves her way to the top. It has a lot of intrigue and I thought it is perfect for Mallika. Luckily for me, she too thought the same.”

It is believed that more than the character or anything else it was the star cast of the film that attracted Mallika. Mallika will be sharing screen space with Hollywood actor John Rhys Davies who was seen in films like Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade and The Lord of the Rings . The director who won critical acclaim for his last film, Charas disclosed, “Although John has okayed the project, the nitty gritties of financial remuneration and dates are still to be worked out. We are on the look out for two more foreign actors and a lead bollywood actor.”

Begum will be produced by Zee Telefilms and the shooting will commence next year.

Angelina Jolie's "Wanted" ads not wanted in UK

Two movies posters for action flick "Wanted" starring Angelina Jolie and James McAvoy have been banned by the U.K.'s Advertising Standards Authority for glamorizing the use of guns and violence and are considered unsuitable for children, media reported Thursday.
A total of 18 people complained about the posters for the film, which were released in the UK in June.

One ad featured Jolie lying on her back across the bonnet of a car, holding a gun next to the text: "We drove through the night at breathtaking speed, destroying everything in our path … welcome to the fraternity. We are a team of assassins, the weapons of fate. Kill one, save a thousand."
Another advert, headlined "6 Weeks ago I was just like you" and with the text "And then I met her ... and my world was changed forever," suggested McAvoy's character's life had been changed for the better since he had become an assassin.

"We acknowledged most viewers would understand the posters reflected the content of an action film," the ASA said in a statement. "However, we considered that because the ads featured a glamorous actress, action poses, several images of, or related to guns and aspirational text, they could be seen to glamorize the use of guns and violence."

While Universal Pictures UK defended their images, it also said the images had already been taken out of circulation, with no plans to use them again in the future.

Vidya Balan can look sexy

It can be remembered that fashion designer Aki Narula had a fallout with actor Vidya Balan while working on the film Kismet Konnection . The girl didn't think he was doing a good job of the clothes and fired him! And while he returned from Toronto, fashion designer Shabina Khan took off from Mumbai to design outfits for Vidya.

However, we got chatting with designer Narula, who is also responsible for the clothes of the cast of Bachna Ae Haseeno – Bipasha Basu, Minnisha Lamba and Ranbir Kapoor. He donned Priyanka Chopra in Don, and the Bunty Aur Babli kurtis that became a fashion rage can be accredited to him.

Anyway, talking about Vidya, we asked, the designer if he would ever work with her again. He said, "Why not? If the script is great and characters interesting, I'd do it!" Now, that's quite something considering the two didn't exactly get along. "Sometimes it clicks, sometimes it doesn't. We're mature individuals. I'll be where there's good work!"

And the big question: Can Vidya ever look sexy? Aki promptly says, "Of course, anyone can be made to look sexy! It's all about the attitude and the way you carry yourself! So, yes, Vidya can look sexy, too!" What a forgiving nature this one has!

Sharon Stone still looks half her age

Even at the age of 50, American actress Sharon Stone still looks half her age, and this is what has helped her hook a much younger boyfriend.

Sharon is currently dating 24-year-old student Chase Dreyfous, who is half her age, and the two have been spotted at some of Los Angeles' finest restaurants ever since they met at a charity event in early July.

They were seen together within weeks of their meeting, and were spotted getting cosy at a party in the city thrown by fashion designer Christian Audigier.

The ongoing romance between the two, who looked love-struck as they emerged from Malibu's Marmalade Cafe at the weekend, was first revealed by Dreyfous.

When none of his friends believed that he was seeing Sharon, he was coaxed into showing a picture of him with Sharon on his mobile phone.

"Ok, look! I've started dating Sharon Stone and she's pretty good for 50,” the Daily Express quoted a source as hearing him tell his friends.

When after a few minutes the actress called him up, he excitedly held out the phone so they could see the number.

"He showed the caller ID to everyone so they knew it was her," the source added.

Stone has never been one to be against having a relationship with a younger man, and in 2005 she is said to have had nothing but praise for it.

"I was in a bar when a 25-year-old started chatting me up," she had said.

"The attraction of the younger man? A 25-year-old would be happy to spend the whole afternoon washing your hair for you. But a 40-year-old man who works too hard will get his secretary to send you flowers,” she stated.

Minnisha Lamba wears a ooh la la – white bikini

Speculations of Priyanka Chopra having donned a bikini in Dostana are rife. But what is confirmed is that actor Minnisha Lamba is all set to show off her sêxy body in Sanjay Gadhvi's Kidnap . The girl wears a – ooh la la – white bikini and has quite a few water scenes! Apparently, the girl lost oodles of baby fat for her role. And is looking quite stunning.

The real fun however will begin when we hear of some bikini bickering from fellow contemporaries, and how Minni will handle the deep end of her 'shallow act'. But as of the moment, the girl is making 'waves', so let's not waive her off just yet.

It's interesting to note that Gadhvi has made many-a-voluptuous woman discard their tassles and emerge in the sexiest of outfits. In Dhoom , Esha Deol was applauded for her makeover, In Dhoom 2 , Ash was at her oomphiest best. And now, we have the simple Minnisha Lamba going the extra mile in Kidnap .

When we got in touch with Gadhvi, he didn't wish to say more but insisted that the character was a teenager who carried a bikini in the glove box of her car. So why not? Sure Sanjay, even we aren't complaining!

Best pout in showbiz is Keira Knightley

Forget Angelina Jolie, the actress who has the best pout in showbiz is Keira Knightley, says a new poll.

And the worst pout, according to the Blistex poll of 3,000 women, is that of Leslie Ash, according to the poll.

The 23-year-old ‘Pirates Of the Caribbean’ star has in fact scored above popular contenders like Angelina Jolie, 33, and pop babe Kylie, 40.

“I don’t pout to be sexy. I do it when I’m concentrating. I think it makes me look constipated,” The Sun quoted Keira, as saying earlier.

Leslie, 48, stayed at the last position and got a “trout pout” after an allergic reaction to collagen injections.

And others with a not so attractive pout included Amy Winehouse and glamour girl Jodie Marsh.

Sameera happy with her career

Sameera Reddy is right now shooting for Nagesh Kukunoor’s tentatively titled film Bemisaal at Kherjala Fort, some two hours drive away from Jodhpur.

The city girl is staying in the 200-year-old fort totally cut off from the outside world with no newspapers or TV for company.

After playing dumb blonde in Race, Sameera seems to have finally arrived in Bollywood and how! She’ll be seen in Priyadarshan’s next as well as in a film called Red Alert based on the naxalite movement by Aruna Raje. She’s also awaiting the release of her animation film Mahayodha Ram where she’s given a voiceover for Sita.

There’s also Mira Nair’s film Migration in her kitty. Ask her about the sudden change and she replies excitedly, “Race was actually the turning point in my career. It was a challenging role for which I was appreciated a lot. Now I get access to a lot of good roles. I can pick and choose films that are more commercially viable. Basically I want to do work that I’m passionate about. In a way my mindset has changed towards roles and films,” explains Sameera. So has she taken a break from doing movies down South? “I’m also doing films in the South as we can’t overlook their popularity in the world market. In a way, I’m trying to maintain a balance between Bollyood and Tollywood,” she says.

Victoria Beckham has dismissed reports that she is eager for a fourth child

Former Spice girl Victoria Beckham has dismissed reports that she is eager for a fourth child. She said she was far too busy looking after her three sons.

Although Victoria had spoken about wanting a girl to add to her brood of sons, Brooklyn, Romeo and Cruz, she insists that it is not the right time, reports contactmusic.com .

"I can't even think about having another baby right now. The boys take up so much of my time. Life is busy in Los Angeles, because Brooklyn has got football, Romeo has got gymnastics and Cruz has break dancing aside of their school commitments," she said.

The singer also defended stars such as Angelina Jolie and Madonna for adopting children to expand their families and added, "We really respect people who go through adoption, but it is not something we have considered as we have our hands full with the three children we have."

Udita Goswami is determined to make a strong comeback

After making a promising debut in a film like Paap in 2003 and then following it up with a breakthrough performance in a negative role (of a femme fatale) in Zeher in 2005, Assamese beauty Udita Goswami seemed to have got lost somewhere in the rat race to stardom.
The few films that she did later like Aksar and Aggar in 2006 and 2007 respectively, failed to make much of an impact at the box office. Ask her about her progressively dipping career graph and she’s quick to reply, “Well, that was just a passing phase. I’m not a very outgoing girl and am extremely bad at PR. May be I got stuck up in a certain glam image at that time and one thing that perhaps worked to my disadvantage was I didn’t want to do multi-starrers.

Now I feel I should have maintained a balance by working with some bigger heroes in some big budget movies. May be I didn’t make the right choices at the right time,” she confesses. But the green-eyed, 5’8” glam babe has no regrets. “I had no godfather in the industry. So I’m proud of whatever I’ve done on my own steam. I’ve also learnt from my experiences and become more headstrong now.” And she’s not given up yet. Udita is right now shooting for Sunny Deol’s The Man in which she’s playing a spy. She will also be seen in Deepak Tijori’s The Fox where she’s essaying the role of a publishing house owner. Way to go girl!

Bond girl Olga enjoying a passionate affair with director Marc Forster

Ukrainian model and actress Olga Kurylenko is reportedly enjoying a passionate affair with ‘James Bond Quantum of Solace’ director, Marc Forster.

Olga, 28, who plays the role of Camille, a Russian-Bolivian agent in the 007 movie, has been very affectionate towards Forster. "Marc is, as we say in the film business, an actors' director," Daily Telegraph quoted Anne Bennett, of Eon, which has produced the film, as saying. "All the actors on the set really got on with him. As far as Olga and Marc are concerned, it's their private lives and I don't want to comment on their personal relationship. They are, however, both single people," she said.

The actress, who had divorced her second husband, Damien Gabrielle, an entrepreneur, at the end of last year, had stated that she would never have a lasting relationship. "I will never belong to anyone," she had declared recently.

Forster, 39, who lived with a girlfriend in 2002, was of the same opinion where relationships were concerned. "When you work so much and travel so much, it's hard to keep them," he said.

Shilpa Shetty attacked by Athavale's men

Controversies dog Shilpa Shetty wherever she goes. Recently the actress, who is hosting the second season of Bigg Boss on Colors channel, was attacked by the supporters of Republican Party of India (RPI) leader Ramdas Athavale in Lonavala.

On Friday after Shilpa finished recording her interview with TV tycoon Ekta and her brother Tusshar Kapoor in Lonavala, the actress was stopped from returning to Mumbai by Athavale's supporters who laid siege to the Bigg Boss venue and pelted her car with stones.

Athavale claims he was approached to go into the Bigg Boss house of the reality show but was dropped "because of Shilpa's manoeuvres".

But Shilpa says she has nothing to do with the selection of participants in the show where they spend up to three months locked inside a house, all their moves recorded by TV cameras.

Talking about the attack on her, Shilpa said: "They wouldn't let me leave. And they were pelting stones at my car! What had my poor car done to earn their wrath? What have I done, will someone please tell me? Will Mr. Athavale and his supporters please understand that I had nothing to with the nomination of candidates for Bigg Boss?"

Athavale's supporters ransacked the Mumbai office of the channel airing Bigg Boss and blocked the road outside soon after the show went on air last month. They even burnt Shilpa's effigies.
