It has been reported that Katy Perry and short time boyfriend Russell Brand are finally engaged. The couple had first met at the MTV Video Music show awards, where Russell Brand was the host. The news comes soon after the report that the couple had gone to India to celebrate Christmas. They had also tweeted pictures of their stay in India, including some snaps of monkeys, a henna tattoo that Katy Perry had obtained while in India and also a picture in which the couple poses in front of the Taj Mahal.
Apparently, Katy Perry and Russell Brand got engaged about a week back, approximately. It has been reported that Russell Brand had popped the question to his girlfriend in the traditional way, complete with a ring.
