Singer Melanie Brown has launched a programme to help get Britons in shape.

The former Spice Girl kicked off the International Fitness Week that aims to encourage people lead healthy and active lives.

“I want to encourage everyone to find what works for them and make being active part of their lifestyle,” the Scotsman quoted Mel B, as saying.

She added: “It’s easier than you think to get totally fit and we will show you how.”

The week will see themed days being devoted to different areas of health and fitness at Fitness First gyms across Britain.

The Rocket Man musician is set to take to the stage with the pop beauty at the prestigious ceremony which takes place at Los Angeles’ Staples, reports the Daily Star.

Nicole Kidman, Penelope Cruz donate for Haiti relief

Nicole Kidman, Penelope Cruz, Javier Bardem, Gerard Butler, Daniel Craig and Sean Penn have donated 250,000 dollars each to Haiti earthquake victims.

The celebrities made the donations at a fund-raiser hosted by director Paul Haggis.

They promised to contribute 50,000 dollars a year for five years to Artists for Peace & Justice’s Haiti relief fund.

Haggis raised a total of 4.5 million dollars after inviting the stars over for brunch at his LA home, reports the New York Post.

The charity founded by Haggis will provide emergency relief and medical to the destitute in the Caribbean state.

She was also questioned on the topic, that what kind of message she is sending across to the other women, with her addiction to cosmetic surgery. Then she replied that she does what she thinks is right for her. She said on Good Morning America that, “I’m living in my skin, and I look in the mirror and it’s my career and my life, and you only have one. So, I want to take advantage of everything and be the best me, in and out, every way.”

The 23-year-old also revealed that right now her breasts are ‘triple D, F’, but ideally she would like them to be ‘H’. The emphasis was on ‘H’ as her name ‘Heidi’ also starts with the same letter. Besides this she revealed in detail the procedures that she underwent in order to improve her looks. “I had a little bit of botox, an eyebrow lift, my ears tucked, I had my nose re-aligned, fat injections put into my cheeks, my lips done and I had my chin shaved down,” she said.

Former Spice girl Mel B wants to have twins in 2010 with husband Stephen Belafonte.

The pop singer already has two daughters — Phoenix Chi, 10, and two-year-old Angel Iris — from two previous relationships.

“We definitely want to have kids at some point in 2010 or the beginning of 2011, because this year’s going to be pretty busy. Stephen has twins in his family and I would love to have twins,” contactmusic.com quoted the singer as saying.

Former model Paula Sladewski found dead in a Miami Trash bin

The Los Angeles based former model Paula Sladewski visited Miami with her boyfriend Kevin Klym to bring in the New Year. But she never returned back, as she died there itself.

In Miami they attended a Lady Gaga show on New Year’s Eve and then went to Club Space. And there they also had a lovers tiff as well. Police started to investigate and noticed a fire in a garbage bin near the club, in which they found the gorgeous model Paula Sladewski burnt very badly. She could be identified with a DNA test, which was made on a particle from her tooth. Police are investigating the case further and looking for the person who set her on fire. Paula Sladewski`s father told the police that her daughter’s boyfriend Kevin frequently quarreled with her daughter and he held him responsible for her death.

It has also been revealed that the brand new collection is scheduled to hit stores some time around autumn 2010. The actress, who is known to have launched 6126 leggings collection in the year 2008, seemed extremely excited as she announced that her 6126 full collection would be available very soon.

Sources reveal that the new collection would comprise of a wide variety of items which would include around 100 pieces. Moreover, the prize range would be varied; consisting of leggings worth about $18 and at the same time leather jackets would be available for about $300.

However, this is not where the expanded collection ends, as the actress is also planning to further increase the collection by the spring of next year. It has been revealed that spring of 2011 would witness around 150 items being available in the collection. The expended collection next year would provide a huge array of cosmetics, shoes, handbags and jewelry.
