“Everyone’s allowed an irrational fear or two, but it’s pretty easy to keep your house well-lit without wasting energy,” Contactmusic quoted representative for the organization as saying.
The spokesperson also suggested alternative sources of energy to light her house.
The rep added: “Megan can install a programmable light timer or even some motion-sensor lighting. Coupled with efficient CFL (compact fluorescent light) or LED (light-emitting diode) bulbs, she can really lower her electric bill and reduce her carbon footprint.”
Fox had said that she kept her home well-lit to avoid returning to dark.
