Freida Pinto upset with internet

Actress Frieda Pinto isn’t a happy lady at the moment. The gorgeous diva is upset with the bold pictures of her been circulated all over the internet, which she had shot for a calendar in 2006. If this wasn’t enough, Freida was stunned to find picture of her while stepping out of a portable toilet during the shoot of Julain Schnabel’s Miral on many blogs. The actress is paying a heavy price for being famous as even her private moments with her boyfriend Dev Patel was been captured in a camera and posted on the internet. But Frieda should understand that a celebrity has to go through all this and shouldn’t get upset due to it.

Freida Pinto becomes new face of L’Oreal products

Freida Pinto is the latest to join the list of celebrities to endorse products by cosmetic giant L’Oreal.

While there have been persistent Internet rumours that the ‘Slumdog Millionaire’ star would be the face of Estee Lauder, Pinto has said that she is excited to be the face of L’Oreal.

“I am very moved to be joining the great L’Oreal Paris family and all these personalities: a family I am now proud to be a part of,” People quoted Freida as saying in a statement.

Freida Pinto to play a role in Israeli film

After bagging a role in a Woody Allen film, the “Slumdog Millionaire” Freida Pinto has now joined the cast of Israeli filmmaker Julian Schnabel’s “Miral”.

The 24-year-old shot to international fame after the success of Danny Boyle’s multiple Oscar-winning drama.

Adapted from Rula Jebreal’s book about Hind Husseini, who founded an orphanage in Jerusalem in the wake of the 1948 partition of Palestine and the creation of the state of Israel, the screenplay for the film is written by Schnabel himself, reports Variety magazine.

The film is to be shot in Israel and the Palestinian territories with filming to begin April 19.

Earlier, Freida was selected for Allen’s untitled project opposite the likes of Sir Anthony Hopkins and Josh Brolin.
