Kidman celebrated her fourth marriage anniversary

Hollywood actress Nicole Kidman and her husband Keith Urban celebrated their fourth wedding anniversary with a romantic meal at a restaurant in Nashville, US, last week.

The couple marked the special occasion as they enjoyed a romantic dinner, reports contactmusic.com.

"Nicole looked stunning, very understated in a sleeveless dress and sandals. They were smiling and holding hands across the table. You could tell they were so in love," said a fellow diner.

Kidman, who have a 23-month-old daughter, Sunday Rose. She also has two adopted children, Isabella, 17, and 15-year-old Connor, with ex-husband Tom Cruise.

Nicole Kidman, Penelope Cruz donate for Haiti relief

Nicole Kidman, Penelope Cruz, Javier Bardem, Gerard Butler, Daniel Craig and Sean Penn have donated 250,000 dollars each to Haiti earthquake victims.

The celebrities made the donations at a fund-raiser hosted by director Paul Haggis.

They promised to contribute 50,000 dollars a year for five years to Artists for Peace & Justice’s Haiti relief fund.

Haggis raised a total of 4.5 million dollars after inviting the stars over for brunch at his LA home, reports the New York Post.

The charity founded by Haggis will provide emergency relief and medical to the destitute in the Caribbean state.

Nicole Kidman ‘busts out’ at Country Music Awards

Nicole Kidman recently walked the red carpet with her husband Keith Urban wearing a dress that seemingly made her appear bustier than usual.

The fuchsia embroidered L’Wren Scott dress the actress donned at the Country Music Awards has received varied takes in the fashion world.

America’s InStyle magazine appreciated the ‘Australia’ star, choosing her for fashion pick of the day prize, reports Adelaide Now.

Also InStyle quoted: “Nicole Kidman accentuated her famous red hair with a vibrant pink gown and colour-clashing jewellery.”

However, the Daily Mail in London suggested the beauty honed the appearance with “extra help” from the lingerie department.

The Daily Mail reported: “Slender Nicole looked in danger of spilling out of her gorgeous magenta dress which hugged her figure, and showcased her stunning rarely seen curves.

“Clearly the actress who is well known for her slim figure had enlisted some extra help in the lingerie department.”

Rising star, 19, pips Kidman to claim AFI Best Actress award nomination

Nicole Kidman has been piped by rising star Sophie Lowe in the race for the AFI Best Actress award nomination.

Lowe, 19, beat the Hollywood heavyweight, 42, to claim the nomination for her feature film debut ‘Beautiful Kate’.

“I wasn’t expecting it. When they read my name out, I just blanked,” News.com.au quoted Lowe as saying.

The movie has also been nominated in the Best Film category at next month’s awards along with others including Balibo, Blessed, Mao’s Last Dancer, Mary And Max and Samson & Delilah.

Kidman’s ‘Australia’, starring Hugh Jackman, failed to bag a nomination in any of the major peer-voted categories.

Nicole Kidman says she’s braver in her 40s

Hollywood actress Nicole Kidman is not worried about getting old, instead she insists that entering 40s has made her braver.

While the 41-year-old actress had to face extreme conditions during her shoot for Baz Luhrmann`s epic Australia, she is adamant being mature has helped her cope with the tough time.

In an interview with The Independent, the Oscar winner revealed that she has become more courageous with age.

"The older I get, the more I feel like I`m on a roller-coaster when I do a film... I`m much more brave, and kind of throw myself into it and try not to worry if I fall flat on my face,” Contactmusic quoted her as telling.

Nicole's bathing suit raises charity

A bathing suit once worn by actress Nicole Kidman is being sold, in a bid to raise money to buy cows for the poor in India.
The bathing suit, which the actress left behind at a Swedish pool in 2002, will hopefully raise thousands of rupees. The swimsuit is on display at a second-hand shop in Esloev, Sweden and will be owned by the highest bidder, according to a website.
The swimsuit was first purchased by Zlatko Nedanovski for 840 dollars (Rs 33,000) from a local radio station, however, later he decided to donate the swimsuit to help an organisation which will make use of the proceeds to purchase cows for Indian farmers. “I’ve been in possession of this bathing suit for more than five years and the time has come for me to pay my dues through a charitable project,” said he.

Kidman considered joining 'nunnery'

Andrew Morton’s new biography on Tom Cruise claims that his ex-wife Nicole Kidman considered entering an Australian nunnery after her marriage to the actor collapsed.
The couple was married for nearly a decade when Cruise started divorce proceedings in February 2001, just before their 10 th wedding anniversary.
At the time Kidman was 3 months pregnant and subsequently had a miscarriage. Now, Morton claims in his tome ‘Tom Cruise: An Unauthorized Biography’, that the actress considered "nunneries in Australia that would admit women who had been married," reports usmagazine.com.
The author also claims that the Aussie star has been "reduced" to seeing their kids Isabel and Connor only via webcam and keeping in touch with them through email.
The tome also says that Cruise did not tell Kidman face-to-face that he was divorcing her, but left the job to his lawyer.
Morton also claims that Kidman saw Scientology as "the third wheel in her marriage", and that she had even consulted a former high-ranking Scientologist to find out if there was a way she could remove Isabel and Connor from the religion.
Kidman is currently married to country musician Keith Urban and the couple are expecting their first child together. The baby will be Kidman’s first biological offspring.
