American actress Nicolette Sheridan has put down rumours that she is being fired from the Desperate Housewives show at the end of its fifth season.

Rumours about sexy 44-year-old Sheridan being shown the door started through the Internet, where claims of her being fired and her character Edie Britt being killed off circulated.

However, Sheridan has put down the rumours, insisting that her character is getting readied for some explosive storylines, hinting that she will be the only star left in the sitcom. “Please! Edie’s going to be causing trouble.

The house hags have done terrible, terrible things to Edie,” she was quoted as having told US TV show Extra. “There will only be one moment of true revenge when all of them are gone, and Edie remains!” she added.

Madonna’s marriage on the rocks?

Rumours are abuzz that Madonna and Guy Ritchie’s marriage is on the rocks, as the couple is said to be leading virtually separate lives.

According to sources, the couple has spent most of the last six months away from each other. Speculations of trouble in the marriage camp were fuelled this week when Ritchie didn’t turn up for the pop star’s Rock ‘n’ Roll Hall of Fame triumph in America.

“Madonna and Guy are over. It’s all very amicable. They’ve just fallen out of love with each other,” News of the World quoted a source, as saying. “They just think it’s for the best, as after some great years together they’ve been going their separate ways.”

“Madonna’s been recording her new album Hard Candy and Guy has been trying to focus on putting a decent film out, so they are heading down different paths. “Guy has failed to show up at events which are important to Madge. He just hasn’t taken as much interest as he has previously in what she’s doing,” the source added.

Madonna is reportedly moving to New York with her kids Lourdes, 11, Rocco, 7, and adopted tot David, 2.

“They’ll try to keep things under wraps for the moment, but Guy will remain living in London and Madonna is set for New York with the kids,” another source said. “Guy will get as much access as he wants because there hasn’t been a massive falling-out... They’re agreeing to part on the best of terms. She has finally made the decision to go to America and has instructed her staff to prepare for the move. Everything will go — except Guy,” the source added.

Sexy Winona Ryder is not engaged !

Pagesix.com reports that there were reports swirling that the "Beetlejuice" star was engaged to the Rilo Kiley singer.

Representatives for the actress say that the mistake occurred because of a wrong caption and simply said, "It's not true."

Ryder and Sennett are together. In the past, she had many boyfriends who were rockers.

The 36-year-old has dated more than 20 musicians including Beck, Damien Rice and Dave Grohl.

Esha Deol’s flying high!

She might be on a break, but that doesn’t stop the sexy Esha Deol from being on a roll.

The actress is away in the US learning jazz and ballet, but reveals that her heart’s still very much back home.

“I’ve never ever been away from mummy and Ahaana for so long. It’s a very different experience,” she says.

The actress is also quite upbeat about her role as an airhostess in the forthcoming film Hijack, a high voltage action thriller that also stars Shiney Ahuja. Talking about this mid-air thriller — which is ad filmmaker Kunal Shivdasani’s directorial debut — Esha says, “It’s a very exciting role. And the action sequences are mind-blowing. As an action buff myself, I’m sure every action fan is going to love this one.” And getting to see Esha in all that action will certainly be the icing on the cake. Isn’t it Esha?

I have no problems with multi-starrers: Daisy Bopanna

“IT was nice working with Yograj Bhat and Ganesh in Gaalipata,” beams Daisy Bopanna as she talks about her latest film release.
The movie, which had an ensemble cast, starred five other actors including Ganesh, Diganth, Rajesh Krishnan, Neetu and Bhavna. But Daisy says that didn’t stop her from signing the film.
It was great fun working with all of them and the role was very different from what I’ve done so far. Though I don’t speak much in the film, the role involved a lot of body language. The film was shot in some really picturesque locations and cinematographer Ratnavelu has done a very good job,” she says.
In Bollywood, she was last seen in her debut Garam Masala. Why hasn’t she done any Hindi films after that? “I was off the industry for about 10 months because of a minor accident. But things should get going in a couple of months and I’m looking forward to doing more films in B-Town,” says the actress.
Meanwhile, her Tamil film, Chakravyuham, will be releasing in March. “I like playing bubbly roles and am looking forward to doing more such roles in my career,” says Daisy.

Wedding on the cards for Kelly

Kelly Brook is determined to tie the knot with her Titanic actor lover Billy Zane in 2008, after postponing last year’s ceremony following her father Kenneth’s death in November.

The British actress said, "We were going to get married last year but then my father was diagnosed with cancer so obviously we just weren’t able to do it. I’m torn between having something really small in England and something in Greece because that’s where Billy is from."

The former Smallville star revealed she is terrified about having to choose a wedding dress. She said, "Choosing the dress is the scariest thing. I think it will depend on location and climate. My all time favourite wedding dress is the one Grace Kelly wore. She looked spectacular. "

Kelly thinks Zane will make a great dad. The 28-year-old beauty says the pair "definitely" want children together, but have no immediate plans to start a family. She said, "Will we have kids one day. Definitely. But at the moment I’ve got four nieces and four nephews and that’s enough for me."

I’m not Britney’s landlord: Heidi

German supermodel Heidi Klum, who in an impulsive moment had suggested that troubled pop singer Britney Spears could come and live with her, is now regretting her rash act.

Heidi had apparently said on a TV show, “She can come live in our house for a couple of months. I would help set her straight.”

While Britney showed no signs of accepting the offer, she is apparently keen on sending her two sons Sean Preston, 2, and Jayden James, 17 months, to play with Heidi’s children Leni, 3, Henry, 2, and Johan, 15 months.

A source close to Heidi said, “Britney is focused on having a play date. It’s been something she has wanted to do for a while now and she’s still determined to do it.”

But Heidi now claims she was forced to invite Britney under pressure. The TV show interviewer refused to believe she did not know Britney and Heidi ended up inviting the singer home as she did not know what else to say at that time.

“People always want to know what you have to say about Britney Spears and I don’t really know her. I met her once. All of a sudden I’m her landlord, basically... I don’t know what her thing is,” she said.
