Paris Hilton is now wary of strangers
Paris Hilton finds it hard to make new friends and is wary of new people coming into her life fearing they only want to hang out with her because she is famous.
The socialite who is launching a reality TV search to find herself a new best friend forever (BFF) insists she doesn’t have many pals and is only close to people she has known since she was a child.
And Hilton would love to expand her social circle, but fears getting conned by prospective new friends looking for their share of the celebrity life. She says, "It is hard meeting new people. Most of my friends I’ve had my entire life, like obviously my sister (Nicky) and Nicole Richie have been with me forever. So when I meet new people, I'm always a little wary of the reason they may want to become my friend. I can usually just tell by when we're out in public and there's paparazzi around, I see, you know, who gets a little bit too excited or whatever. I can tell how those people are."
Paris, the 'Most Overexposed Celebrity’
Paris Hilton has topped a new list of the ‘Most Overexposed Celebrity in America.’According to a survey by Los Angeles-based E-Poll Market Research, the hotel heiress has beaten Britney Spears and party girl Lindsay Lohan to the top of the list.
The survey, reported by Forbes magazine, noticed
that the media exposure keeps such stars among the ranks of top celebrities even when their movie, TV, or recording work is unnoticeable. Forbes has given the example of Pamela Anderson, who has landed the fourth spot in the list.
"Without the acting career she hoped would take off. It's her tabloid presence care of multiple marriages (and divorces) and provocative ways that continues to open doors for her celebrity," Contactmusic quoted Forbes, as stating.
