Singer Mariah Carey has dismissed rumours about her ill health, which started circulating after she cancelled a number of her appointments, saying that the recent schedule change is “no big deal”.
Carey had cancelled an upcoming appearance at a televised concert in New York on August 12, leaving teen star Miley Cyrus to fill in for her.
A representative for the singer is adamant that the delays are nothing to worry about.
“These dates have been postponed and not cancelled. Record release dates change all the time,” the Daily Express quoted Carey’s publicist Cindi Berger as telling People.com.
She also said that,“It’s nothing unusual and it doesn’t signal anything. There are a lot of moving parts to Mariah’s professional life. It’s no big deal,”.
