30-year-old actress Katie Holmes is rumoured to be in negotiations to join the cast in an upcoming ‘Sex and the City’ sequel, as a rival to Kim Cattrall’s man-eating character Samantha.“The character they want her to play is a really ballsy, high-powered company executive who tangles with Samantha,” Contactmusic quoted as a source as having told British tabloid The Sun.
The shooting is expected to get underway later this year, while the film is slated for a May 2010 release.
