Odissi is complicated, Shilpa writes on her blog

Actress Shilpa Shetty, who took Odissi lessons from an Orissa-based dance guru for an India-China joint film venture, says the classical Indian dance form was tough to learn and perform.

"Odissi is complicated and among all the songs I've ever shot, this has been the most difficult," Shilpa writes on her blog.

The actress, along with Jayaprada, had learnt Odissi from Guru Ratikant Mohapatra, son of legendary Odissi exponent late Kelucharan Mohapatra during the shoot of the film in Kerala.

Shilpa went through a week-long Odissi dance workshop under the supervision of Ratikant Mohapatra at Kollam in Kerala. According to her, the guru was a "hard taskmaster". Shilpa Shetty Photo Album

Britney rehearsing for her ‘The Circus’ tour in skimpy bikini top

Pop singer Britney Spears was seen rehearsing dance routines for her world tour in a skimpy bikini top.

Her ‘The Circus’ tour is to start in just over a month, and Spears gave fans a glimpse of her rehearsal progress by posting the pictures on her website, reports the Sun.

The 44-date tour will feature three spectacular acts, from the time of her breakdown to her recovery, and it will kick off in her home state of Louisiana on March 3.

It will run for four months and will cover the rest of the US, Canada and London, with plans of taking it to the rest of Europe also.

Spears will perform six gigs in London's O2 arena between June 3-14.

Britney Spears has reportedly signed a 10million dollars publishing deal for a no-holds-bar account of her roller-coaster career.

And the 27-year-old star would begin writing as soon as her sell-out world tour gets over.

“There have been numerous unofficial biographies printed about Britney, but she’s never agreed to pen her own tome - until now", The Mirror quoted a source as saying.

If the deal goes ahead she will write between three and five books throughout the next decade.

Britney will talk frankly about growing up and how she went off the rails. It'll be a gripping read.
