A summer wedding for Kate Middleton

Kate Middleton, it seems, can’t stay away from Prince William for too long, for the stunner is poised to set a wedding date with the royal sometime in summer.

William is currently out on a drug-busting mission with his Navy pals in the Caribbean. And all this while Kate is yearning for her man so that she’s told pals that she wants to spend the rest of her life with the royal and is hoping for a summer wedding.

However, there won’t be any announcements till the time the groom in question returns from his mission with the Royal Navy.

“Kate has missed him terribly while he’s been away. She’s found it really hard as she’s only been able to speak to him when his ship has been docked close to shore due to poor phone reception. But he’s back soon and Kate is very excited,” The Daily Star quoted a source close to her family, as saying.

In the meantime, Royal courtiers have apparently discussed with government sources about the possibility of making any wedding a national holiday. Kate has even told friends that this may be the last Christmas she spends with her family as she may be a part of the royal household by next year.

“Kate is very loyal and only confides in the people closest to her. She recently told her family this Christmas would be the last one she spends with them, which is a firm indication of the couple’s plans,” said the source.

The source added: “It all depends on how quickly they can get things sorted. They’ve been discussing their plans with royal officials for some time, so they’re pretty confident it will be next summer.”

Jessica reeling under sêx tape rumours

Carla Bruni, wife of French President Nicolas Sarkozy, has defended posing nudê and claimed that talks about her 30 lovers were poetic licence - in fact she has only had around 15.

In an interview to Paris Match , Carla defended posing nudê during her days on the international catwalk, claiming her behaviour was never as risque as pop stars like Madonna, who published authorised pictures of herself in the nudê in the infamous 1992 coffee table book Sêx .

Recalling her own nude photo shoots, Carla said: "I was never extravagant like Madonna can be! I was younger too and, above all, I was a model.

"My job was to wear clothes, it was different. I was not going to discuss dressing up."

Mischa Barton owes her name and fame to Hollywood, but that doesn’t mean that she wants to live the showbiz lifestyle.

Stress taking toll on Madonna's health

The stress of the past month is taking its toll on Queen of pop Madonna. So much so, it’s now starting to affect not only her health, but also her work.

Madge, whose Sticky & Sweet world tour is commencing soon, has sacked two of her dancers in a fit. What’s more, her bad moods also have her tour manager threatening to walk out.

Along with rehearsals for her show not going well, her health has also started to deteriorate and doctors have discovered that Madge is anaemic, a definite sign that she is overdoing it.

The ‘Like a Virgin’ singer also suffered a painful knee injury and so she now has a doctor, physiotherapist and a chiropractor on duty during rehearsals for her forthcoming Sticky & Sweet world tour.

The cause of her meltdown has been attributed to the crisis in her marriage to Guy Ritchie and allegations of a relationship between her and baseball star Alex ‘A-Rod’ Rodriguez.

The other blow came from her brother Christopher Ciccone, who penned a book about her. The strain has pushed her famous mood swings to terrifying new extremes.

“Madonna is doing less than OK. She has been rehearsing for the tour and she is totally miserable,” the Sun quoted a source in her camp as saying.

“She’s down physically and mentally. The situation with Guy is very, very tense. The way the press are going crazy with the A-Rod story, her brother’s book and her physical exhaustion are all taking their toll.

“Family tension with her father and two of her other siblings has also been awkward.

“She feels nobody has taken her side. One of her closest pals says she has never seen Madonna so low. She has been feeling low and looking really gaunt.

“Madonna was told to go soft on work and rehearsals, so she will now take one proper day off every week and go easy in the mornings.

“She has a blood analysis done every few days — including one during last Friday’s rehearsal in front of everyone,” the source added.

English model Kate Moss had a series of rows with her beau Jamie Hince over his band mate Alison Mosshart, costing them their relationship, it has emerged.
Kate’s jealousy of Hince spending too much time with his band mate Mosshart and his excluding her from his rock life, has been cited as the cause for the fights.
“It’s the other Kate, she’s got your heart,” News of the World quoted a source, as saying.
Kate further accused Hince of getting too close to Alison after he came back to her house at 3am one night, and also complained that Mosshart has copied her skinny jeans style and always wants to hang out with Jamie socially.
“Kate was upset with Jamie because he often doesn’t pick up his phone when he’s with her,” another source said.
“Kate shouted at him that he likes Alison’s vibe, is always laughing with her, and has a closeness with her that they don’t have.

The French First Lady opened up about her wish in an interview with VSD magazine.

However Carla, who has a son from a previous relationship, admits that getting pregnant may not be so easy, reports The Telegraph."Will it happen? It is very difficult for me to say. However, it is more difficult when you are 40 than when you are 25," she told the mag.

She also admitted that she would ‘understand’ if the French public don’t take to her new album because of her marriage to Mr Sarkozy.

No asset reduction for Pamela Anderson

Former Baywatch babe Pamela Anderson has laughed off rumours that she has rekindled her relationship with Motley Crue drummer Tommy Lee and that she’s undergone breast reduction.

The 41-year-old, who has two sons Lee, insisted that though the two are still friends, they are certainly not together.

English musician Pete Doherty has revealed that he is set to tell all about the sex, drugs and rock and roll life he led with supermodel Kate Moss in a new autobiography.

Doherty will be co authoring with Sean Boru, and the tome will have sections devoted to focusing on his relationship with the supermodel. "The whole premise of the book is Pete talking about Kate Moss and the sex and drugs and rock'n'roll lifestyle they shared,” Daily Telegraph quoted Boru as saying.

“I wrote to Pete when he was in jail about my experiences when I was a drug addict and we built a relationship. He knows I understand where he is coming from and this is the first book that properly details his private life with Moss - which is what everyone wants to read about," he added.

News of Doherty's book comes as Moss' lost hair extension went on sale on eBay.

Rakhi successfully managed to impress Aamir Khan

After wooing the Hindustaan Ki Janta and winning a reality show ‘Yeh Hai Jalwa’, Rakhi has successfully managed to impress Aamir Khan too! Aamir has answered Rakhi’s prayers and will be seen as a guest on her talk show soon.

Come this weekend, Rakhi Sawant will be seen hosting a reality show on Zoom and had expressed her desire to invite Aamir as her first guest. On seeing Aamir, Rakhi’s first words were (in hindi), “ I really wanted you on the show because I believe you have the Midas touch. Whatever you do, whatever film you make, becomes super successful. So I wanted you as my first guest as I wanted my show to be a hit”.

Rebello said, “Rakhi wanted to look like Mallika Sherawat and since I design Mallika’s clothes, she asked me to do her clothes as well. She personally told me how she appreciates what Mallika wears. She is also being given diction training so that she can improve her English speaking skills.”

Ameesha drops Patel

She’s simply Ameesha now. We saw her name appear as ‘Ameesha’ in the credit titles of her latest film, Thoda Pyaar Thoda Magic and decided to check.

Since Ameesha didn’t take our calls or reply to our messages, we contacted her director, Kunal Kohli. He said, “Ameesha told us how she wanted her name to appear, and we did it as she wanted. She didn’t want her surname. I didn’t ask her why. I thought there must be a numerological reason for it.”

We then called up Ameesha’s mother, Asha Patel, who snapped, “If you have seen that she has dropped her family name in the titles, why are you asking me? Please leave me alone.”

Her brother Ashmit seemed to know about it, though. But, he too said, “Why should I react to it? I don’t have any take on this.” Could it be for reasons related to numerology? He replied, “If it’s numerology, I hope it works for her.”
