Mel B wants to get Brits in shape

Singer Melanie Brown has launched a programme to help get Britons in shape.

The former Spice Girl kicked off the International Fitness Week that aims to encourage people lead healthy and active lives.

“I want to encourage everyone to find what works for them and make being active part of their lifestyle,” the Scotsman quoted Mel B, as saying.

She added: “It’s easier than you think to get totally fit and we will show you how.”

The week will see themed days being devoted to different areas of health and fitness at Fitness First gyms across Britain.

Mel B wants to have twins this year

Former Spice girl Mel B wants to have twins in 2010 with husband Stephen Belafonte.

The pop singer already has two daughters — Phoenix Chi, 10, and two-year-old Angel Iris — from two previous relationships.

“We definitely want to have kids at some point in 2010 or the beginning of 2011, because this year’s going to be pretty busy. Stephen has twins in his family and I would love to have twins,” contactmusic.com quoted the singer as saying.

“I think there’s something nice about having two babies, and they’re there for each other their whole entire life. That would be ideal for me,” she added.
