Cheryl Cole plans to drop her married name from her new CD

Cheryl Cole is apparently thinking of using her maiden name, Tweedy, or may be will dump it entirely on the new CD, which will come out this summer, the Sunday Mirror revealed.

Cheryl plans to divorce Ashley after he cheated on her with five women.

“This name change is the final thing she feels she has to do before a divorce starts moving forwards. She’s numb about the marriage ending but knows she needs to pick herself up. Throwing herself into work is how she’s coping,” said a music industry source.

Cheryl Cole’s calendar is one of the biggest sellers of the year

Cheryl Cole‘Girls Aloud’ star Cheryl Cole’s calendar has made it to the best sellers list along with Twilight sequel New Moon.

While boy band JLS topped the chart, New Moon came second and X-factor judge came third.

The chart has been compiled by Europe’s biggest official Calendar-maker Danilo and retailer HMV.

“It’s all change on our walls this year,” the Mirror quoted a spokeswoman for Danilo as saying.

Other annual favourites like Manchester United dropped from 2008’s third place to six, and Liverpool fell from two to nine.

Sir Cliff Richard, for the first time dropped out of the top 10 to land on 13th spot.

2008’s biggest hit, High School Musical, failed make it in top 20 this year.

“While I note that the occupants clearly suffer a certain level of intrusion into their private lives, I am not satisfied that these facilities are essential,” the Daily Express quoted government planning inspector Philippa Jarvis, as saying.

Cheryl and her footie hubby Ashley are now expected to go about their construction plans above the ground on the 12 acres land around their 3.5million pound home.

The couple had made the appeal against an earlier decision that barred them from making the complex, saying that aircraft flying above their home could photograph them during “intimate episodes”.

Guildford Borough Council rejected the request, as the plan was “inappropriate” for the Green Belt.

“If I’m totally honest with you, I never had a style icon. But Lady Gaga is right now.

I think people don’t see her as conventionally beautiful but, as a style icon and an artist, I’m slightly obsessed with her. She’s the real deal,” she added, Contactmusic quoted her as saying.

David Beckham was rated as setting the best example for children – more than half (55 per cent) of those questioned said he was a good, or very good, role model, compared to 18 per cent who said he sets a bad example.

Cheryl Cole came second, with 40 per cent rating her positively, compared to 27 per cent who said she was a bad role model. The singer was convicted in 2003 of assaulting a nightclub worker and was sentenced to 120 hours of unpaid community service. Cartoon character Homer Simpson was voted the worst role model.

The poll questioned over 2,000 adults of whom only one in seven said children today looked up to their fathers. Some 32 per cent of adults said they used to consider their mother a role model, 30 per cent believe that children today now see their mother in the same way.

‘X Factor’ judge Cheryl Cole has admitted that sêx, not money, keeps her happy.

The Girls Aloud member also revealed her bedroom antics with her footballer husband Ashley Cole.

“We tackle each other in the bedroom and he loves me massaging his feet,” the Mirror quoted her as saying.

“Sêx with Ashley is more important to me than all the money in the world.

“Sêx makes me happy, money doesn’t. And Ashley makes me feel sêxy, he’s fantastic,” she added.

Cheryl, 25, who had once let slip that Ashley did not like to make love when their pet chihuahua was in the room, also revealed her preference.

“I think most men prefer to hear little breaths rather than big loud screams. Otherwise you sound like a pÓrn film,” she stated.

The singer is very independent, and advises others about relationships.

“I tell my friends to play hard to get,” she said.

“Don’t call him, don’t text him, and he’ll come running to you. It works every time,” she added.

Anderson has been added to the celebrity phobia list

Even celebrities are not free from having phobias like the rest of the world, and heading the list is English singer Cheryl Cole, who has been revealed to have a phobia for cotton wool.

The Girls Aloud member, who finds cotton wool to be very unpleasant, will just not let it get anywhere near her.

“I went to the dentist the other day and he put it in my mouth and I felt violated for the whole day,” the Sun quoted her as saying.

“I hate cotton wool. I never use it, not for taking my make-up off or anything. Just the feel of it...it squeaks. Urgh. I can’t bear it,” she added.

Alison Kerry, a spokesperson for the mental health charity Mind, said that there were many kinds of phobias brought on by fear.

“A phobia is an intense fear of an object or a situation, such as wasps or heights, that wouldn’t normally worry other people,” she said.

“It is an anxiety disorder and centres upon our natural reaction to fear.

“Phobias are extremely common, with recent estimates suggesting that there are 10 million sufferers in the UK.

“They can have a number of causes; some people can trace them back to their childhood and a certain frightening event, whilst in other cases they can result from long-term stress and anxiety,” she added.

Cole, it turns out, is not the only celeb who has a phobia, included in the list is the queen of pop herself, Madonna, who is afraid of storms, and hides herself when there is a big thunderstorm.

Another celeb with a phobia is Dame Helen Mirren, who has a fear of talking on the phone.

Even Baywatch babe Pamela Anderson has been added to the celebrity phobia list, hers being a fear of mirrors.
