Ashlee Simpson-Wentz gives up music for son

Ashlee Simpson-Wentz has made up her mind to hang up her mic and focus on her acting career for the sake of her son, it has emerged.

The 25-year-old singer/actress feels only acting can give her the time to be with the 11-month-old Bronx.

“She’s reading scripts. Acting is her focus now. If she had an album, she’d have to tour and be away from Bronx. She wants consistency,” Contactmusic quoted a source, as saying.

However, Ashlee’s acting plans also got a setback when she was axed from ‘Melrose Place’.

Popstar Pete Wentz and wife Ashlee Simpson have released the very first picture of their baby son Bronx Mowgli on the Internet.

The couple lovingly stuck a photo of Mowgli on their e-card, wishing everybody a merry Christmas and happy holidays.

The holiday e-card reads: “Happy Holidays to all of our friends! Love Pete, Ashlee and Bronx.”

We decided to share the best gift we could ever receive with you: Bronx Mowgli Wentz. We couldnt be happier. And in the spirit of the holidays, wed like to encourage you to give on your own,” Us Weekly quoted the couple, as stating on the website.
